ROBERT ANTELL FIGURATIVE COLLECTION
Somerset born, Bristol based artist Robert specialises in painting figures in pastels.
His influences are French impressionism, 14th-15th century renaissance painting and the British Arts and Crafts movement.
As an art student he became interested in the photography of Henri Cartier-Bresson who specialises in capturing the ‘decisive moment’.
It is this spirit that Robert hopes to capture in much of his work.
Robert has had work published by Rosenstiels, Glebe Cottage, The Royal Horticultural Society, Artistic Britain and Traidcraft.
